Kapria was born and raised in Detroit, where she lives today along with her husband, Ivoire and their son, Jeffrey.
A graduate of Siena Heights University with a B.A. in Professional Communication, Kapria serves in vital leadership capacities with children and adults in her local church and community. Among her numerous and varied gifts and talents, Kapria is a writer, spoken word artist, and lyricist.
