We are so thankful for this past season and God’s direction through it all. Colin is close to finishing his first semester in machining school and has thrived in this new place. Every week brings new projects that allow him to work with his hands to be creative and machine new products. He will continue to take classes through the summer while hopefully working part-time in a machine shop.
Rachel has spent time prepping for the upcoming summer teams that will be arriving at Forge in the next month or so. The Forge staff are so excited for all that God has in store for this summer and each life they will get to encounter and invest in.
As we get ready to enter into the summer, we are entering a faith journey with Jesus. Earlier this year, we felt led for Rachel to take an extended leave of absence for health-related reasons. A couple of years ago she was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease and has come to a place of needing to focus on healing and wellness. Post-summer, we will pursue conversation around what a shifted role with Forge will look like.
We are so grateful for your prayers in this season! Financial partners continue to be a blessing and the fuel to our ministry life. If you have any questions for us, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
