This past week, I spent a couple of days in the mountains with a group of young adults who were seeking healing, restoration, and a deeper connection with Jesus. Through time spent in prayer, worship, and letting God speak to us together through His Word, many of them expressed that they felt renewed. On our final evening together, they said things like: “I came here feeling broken; now I feel whole.” And: “I came here confused and worried; now I have clarity and peace.”
Isn’t it sweet the way the Father knows just what we need, and is delighted to provide for us when we turn to Him?
In just a couple of weeks, we will begin to welcome students to Colorado for another summer of intense discipleship and equipping. This year, I will be stepping into more leadership with these programs – so I am thrilled to see what the Lord has in store, and I ask that you please keep me, and these teams, in your prayers. My time in the mountains this week served as a good reminder to me that my call and my charge is simply to create space for individuals to meet with the Lord – and the rest is up to Him. He is the one who works to transform hearts and lives – what a joy that He invites us to be part of the work, to do it together.
Praise God for all that He has done, and all that He has yet to do!
Much love to you all.
